About me

I'm 39 and twenty five twelfths!! I have recently relocated back to my home town after 20 years away in Oxford and Nottingham. It feels right to be home now. Still looking for my ideal job and my ideal bank account! oh and my ideal-ish man! I love travelling but not having the ideal bank account limits that a little, but I have been fortunate enough to visit quite a few different countries in the past and I hope to visit many many more in the future. I don't scare easily and have been on a few ghost hunts which have been good but I havent experienced any inexplicable things...yet! I enjoy reading about ancient civilisations and alternative views on life, mainly spiritual aspects. Neale Donald Walsh's Conversations with God books are fantastic. I was put off reading his books for many years because they had 'God' in the title, but once I started I couldnt put them down. I even attended a talk by Neale in Bristol, he was very interesting. It's quite ironic in a way I am attractd to a weatherman as I was definitely brought up with the weather. My dad has always worked outside so the weather was always on in our house when I was young, but he is also very interested in weather and I remember he used to get the monthly magazine from the Met office. If I had ever enjoyed school in any remote way I think my ideal job may have been volcanologist, but when I tried to take Geology as an option they said they weren't going to do it because not enough people where interested in it, so that was that. So when I left school I got a random job and have been doing random jobs ever since! But I don't want to do random jobs anymore so I'm currently thinking hard about what I could do that I would really enjoy, I'm hoping it will come to me soon! Meanwhile I'm enjoying keeping my Matt Taylor blog up to date in my spare time as it doesn't cost me anything and I'm trying to get back on track financially. It's really great that Matt seems to be on weekends more than anything else too. He probably doesn't think so though, cant be good for the social life, but it means i can see him more :)
