About me
Medieval Historian by degree - temp secretary for pennies. Love animals of all varieties but not to eat (veggie!) Practicing GREY witch. Read profusely - fantasy fiction mostly. Have a thing about the Knights Templar, Freemasons, medieval conspiracies and The Cathars. (Should have written that book before Dan Brown!!) Have lived in France for 6 years (Monte Carlo for 4 and Montpellier for 2) and Germany for 5. Favourite author - the Small God himself, Terry Pratchett. Have a hellhound -X Rhodesian Ridgeback & English Mastiff named Glyndwr, a grumpy tabby named Rhiannon, a stray tortoise shell kitten called Autumn who just turned up in the garden one day and hasn't left, an Iguana called Verdigris and two Netherland Dwarf rabbits (Lady Jane who is grey and Elvira who is black [but of course!!]). Collect UNUSUAL dragons. Love Rock music but dress like a Goth (extremely difficult to do living in the woolly wilds of south west Wales!). Have traced my family back to 1198 (without real confirmation but plenty of hints!) Tch, I'm a Norman!! I love cooking, red wine, good coffee, growing my own food and herbs for potions and culinary delights. Would love an entire library (with real fire and the comfiest armchairs) of my most favourite authors. Love good company (as long as it's at a table with aforementioned red wine and good food and NOT, I repeat NOT with me in the library!) Speak fluent Welsh and French - quite similar really:)). Intend going back to south western France eventually, to indulge my medieval side and live the life I loved. That's it really - quite mundane!
