About me

Robert Carry, from Dublin, graduated from UCD in 2003 and the DIT Masters in Journalism course in 2004. His work has appeared in various publications including the Irish Daily Star and The Sunday Tribune. He has also appeared on both RTE News and BBC Radio. He is a former staff journalist at Metro Éireann where he served as chief sports reporter and headed the paper’s Northern Ireland section. The column below appears in the printed edition of Metro Éireann each week. He is currently working in Thailand as the news editor of an English-language magazine.
