About me

I was born in France and grew up in the pretty Beaujolais countryside before studying in Lyon for 7 years. From then I moved to Seattle for a while, then China then eventually London where I met my husband. My dad started as a butcher (now works as an agent for various small producers), my mum came from a big family of 8 and we are quite a big family of 4 girls ourselves. My grand-dad was passionate about growing stuff; my grand mother who wouldn't waste a thing. Add it all and you get...me. Some of my best memories come from long, lovely Sunday meals -often at my grand parents- enjoying dish after dish of simple tasty food that was always cooked to perfection and never seemed to be hard to prepare? It's not just the food that makes people smile. it's a warm welcome, attention to details and taking the time to relax, sit down, listen and just...let time pass. I am still working on the "sit down" bit but it makes me grin everytime I think of those occasions.

User tags
What´s a tag?
A tag works like a keyword. Like categories, they are used to describe people, groups, or posts. You can tag a post with several tags separated by commas.

Example: tags for the post your wrote about your holiday in Australia could be: holiday, australia, down under, sun, hot, melbourne, sydney, dingos.
Many tags help to have your posts be found more easily, but fewer tags also help you with organizing your posts.

However, most users tend to use tags for their own personal organisation of posts and do not allow other people to tag their posts.

You must be logged in to tag this user.
