About me

I am Julia. I love and staplers, and neck-ties, and earrings, and naturally, funky napkins and eyes. I like tea, pomegranates, grapefruit, seaweed, and SOBE. My mother is the g-dess of coolness. HAHA I am lactose intolerant but I really love cheese. I have a cat, and a palm tree. I found out it snows in Seattle~sometimes~which is definitely an exciting reason its residents are sleepless. I live in Los Angeles, USA, (where it never snows, and where we have to take super road trips to reach frost). I am fascinated by Europe and hope to move to the UK (Anglophile)! We speak Russian, and my mother's side of the family is from St. Petersburg. I took Hebrew in school, but also want to learn German and Italian. My birthday is July 8th. I was born on a Monday, but Thursday is my favorite day of the week. I love The Baeatles, ABBA, and Doors, as well as strange artists like Eels and DeVotchka. I have a large collection of records (the large disks that preceeded tapes and CD's :-). I love songs from the European Collection and international groups that are featured on Brasiliero and French Carribean disk series, which unfortunately, few heard of. I am not into modern hip-hop that much, though it's great to dance to. If anyone can recommend some interesting music, I'd be glad to check it out.
