About me
I'm Billy. I started this blog in August 2005 to see how powerful this medium could be for bringing people together online, and have a bit of fun and a rant at the Government too. It is impressive I must say this blogging malarkey. I'm a teacher working in Further Education in England but I live in Glasgow and commute. I'm 40 something and want to share with you some experiences from my daily work in education. Names have been changed to protect the innocent, but the facts behind the stories are all true to a degree. Education is time warp profession, a constantly evolving and changing place where all the kids stay the same age and I get older by and more decrepit by the minute. Still I've been teaching in Education for donkeys years now and I've seen most changes come round for their second time. What goes around usually comes around again every twenty years or so. I have a lot of interests like music from Abba to ZZ Top and love good food, fine wine and nice people.
