About me

My name's Katherine, but call me Kathy. I've been asking people to call me that since I was five and I'm not about to stop now. So, what can I tell you about me? Well, I'm nineteen years old, an only child and slightly mad. I live in a little village in West Yorkshire that I affectionately like to call "The Village of the Damned" (otherwise it's known as Burley-in-Wharfedale). I'm a college student studying for my Alevels in English Literature, Language and Film Studies. I love to read. My favourite author is Neil Gaiman and my favourite book Neverwhere' was written by him. I also like to sing, draw, act, socialise, watch films and, obviously, write. I've been trying to write a book for about three years and although I've come close a couple of times, I have yet to actually accomplish it. However, I have managed to write a few children's stories and poems that I'm quite proud of.
