About me

I'm a 21 year old girl from Hampshire and I'm trying to lost over 8st in weight. Obviously there's a whole load of reasons why I want to lose the weight but this is section is about me and not my flab! I really love clothes - not fashion so much, I don't tend to follow the crowd although I do read Vogue and Elle every week - and have always felt hindered by my weight. I'm equally as passionate about shoes. I love going to charity shops and buying severe little pencil skirts and stashing them away for when they'll fit me. These days nothing is more exciting than discovering I fit in something! I have a VW Beetle from the 60's and he's my pride and joy. Driving him makes me smile no matter what's happening. I'm really into tattoos but mainly on other people than on myself. I only have one and it's shrinking by the day (damned saggy skin). I'm planning to get a back piece once I have lost my weight. We'll see, eh? TV-wise you'll find me watching Heroes, Red Dwarf, Eggheads, QI, Eastenders, Gok, Miami Ink, Family Guy...sometimes I do enjoy putting the Disney channel on and watching an endless amount of Hannah Montana - what can I say, we all need to switch our brains off sometimes. I like to listen to The Smiths (oh you'll see from my ever-pessimism), Bob Marley, Madness, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Fratellis, anything indie/reggae/classic rock-ish...although of late I have been listening to the Hairspray soundtrack in my car (don't tell anyone). I like going to gigs and hope once I've lost my weight I'll be able to wriggle to the front and not get as sweaty! (Nice image, huh?).
