- 38 degrees yesterday and we wanted to go out on the water to seek sheltered private coves to swim and cool off. There is a boat hire place near us at Aghia Kyriaki and so we hoofed it down to hire a power boat. Alas the waves were too big for the boat hire guy to be hiring out. So we popped along to old favourite Antisamos beach instead.... more
