- Steve phoned earlier to say he'd moved into his new room. So he should be happy - yet he sounded really down. Refused to say why though. - Well I was a couple of minutes late phoning Steve, so he texted me asking me to call him. So I did, we had a pretty usual conversation, then he said, 'the weekends go so fast when you're here.' - Just as I was going, Steve asked me to phone him at 11pm tonight. Again, something he's not done in a long time. - Last night when I spoke to Steve he said he'd phone me at my lunch break, about 1pm. I very much doubted he'd even remember saying it, let alone actually do it, since he's been an unreliable telephoner the whole of our relationship. - Yesterday after I'd transferred the money over to Steve's account, I asked him if he really wanted to see me this weekend, or if he'd just been keeping me hanging on because he needed money.
