- Its surprising in many ways that sitting watching the world go by from the booth near the window at Bunters Grill can be such a real pleasure. For starters, there is the view - opposite and to the left, where Erskine Road meets the High Street, there is the Nationwide Building Society. - I have previously mentioned the N&A Fishmongers further down the hill at the junction of Vernon Road. This branch is opposite Nationwide and the junction with Erskine Road. It has Ladbrokes at its right and Bunter's Grill to the left. This branch is as excellent as the one further down the hill, and has almost exactly the same stock, though... more

- The Hundreds Sweet Shop has a frontage coloured pastel candy pink, to help it stand out in the crowded market.
