- I caught the bus today to Newport. It was a very social occasion. I met up with two sets of elderly neighbours at the bus stop. They were taking advantage of their free bus passes to take a bus along the coast to a village pub for lunch. - I really do not know what is wrong with me at the moment.... I'm putting it down to my hormones as I just can't stop crying! - I didn't want to stop walking when I took Dog out this morning. It is so beautiful. And quiet. The island celebrates half-term a week after the rest of the mainland, for some unknown reason, so everyone appears to have gone away.
