- Hells Bells! I draw the curtains and see a thick haar. I can just see the barns that sit in the field in the farm behind the house. Fine, I have a 'must do and clear tasks' day ahead of me, not one that I relish. A damp haar will make it easier to get on with it. - Would you know it, the day I absolutely have to stay in and clear the decks with all sorts of important stuff, following a bank holiday, the weather is fabulous.
