- The period roughly 3rd July - 11th August is called the Dog Days of Summer (at least, that's what I used to call them.) This is because the Dog Star, Sirius, rises and sets with the sun at this time of year. Obviously we're still in June, so this post has absolutely nothing to do with Sirius, instead, here are some photos of the dogs enjoying... more
