- I haven't yet written about this, but Thursday night was my last shift at Debenhams. After 9 months I handed in my notice two weeks ago, and now i am unemployed. At the time it seemed like a good idea, i do need the weekends free next year, and a job where i can get more shifts in the week, which i can't get at Debenhams. Several other good... more

- Recommend posting to-do lists on blog - I felt under a bit of pressure there. :-/ So, have done everything apart from the online wedding list - mainly because I can't decide between Next & Debenhams. If we went with Debs we get a £50 voucher as an incentive but I think their stuff is more expensive and not as nice as Next?? Can't decide so... more

- So, since Wednesday it has been very much all play, little work. I've had Debenhams shifts but I've been out to pubs, clothe shopping, friend's houses and stuff so its been great. - It hasn't really been much. Working at Debenhams Saturday, Sunday (1.5rate!), Bank Holiday Monday (Double Rate!) has been so tiring. I really wouldn't be able to hack a full time job in the catering industry, its such hard work and compared to the work they do on menswear etc. downstairs its a lot more, but they still get paid more??
