- OK, I know this is going to sound TOTALLY crazy. My friends all thought I was crazy when I mentioned it but: Daisies are an incredible flower. Some people think they're a weed or mess up areas, but I like them. I like making daisy chains and the way they're always so bright and come back year after year while expensive flowers wither away inside... more

- I'm never quite sure what to expect with our weather at the moment. Some days we get a bit of everything (including hail and snow...) It's still cold, my fingers are numb as I write, but we've had some sunshine today and I've managed to dry a line of tea towels.... And I can tell it's been a good day weather-wise because the sky had enough... more
