- whenever I need real comfort food, few things will do. But one of them is "coquillettes" with grated cheese and butter. coquillettes are tiny pasta, like small curbed macaronis, and a traditional dish we had when we were kids, perhaps because they are so small, they are perfect for a child's mouthfull?
