- From the BBC news website. The NEC Arena in Solihull is to be renamed as part of a deal to fund a £28m facelift. It will be known as the LG Arena from September onwards after announcing a sponsorship deal with LG Electronics. Doesn't change the fact that it's an unimaginatively designed building and it's ugly! more
